I've been telling my father I won't vote for Romney or Guliani, regardless of who the Democratic nominee ends up being. He considers that "voting for Hillary." Personally I'll vote on principles or not at all. I'm not going to vote for a Republican gun-grabbing, big-government socialist just because the other candidate is a Democratic gun-grabbing, big-government socialist. I'd consider that "wasting my vote."
I think John Quincy Adams put it well saying,
“Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.”
