- Judge Learned Hand
Never forget what our founders fought and died for. They gave up lives of affluence to fight for what they believed in, no matter the costs. As John Stuart Mill once said,
“A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.”
These men were better men. They were patriots, men of principle and action, (no matter what liberal professors say about them) and we owe them an enduring debt of gratitude. May we never forget what they sacrificed for us and for future generations of Americans.

Amen to that Mike
I just wish people would really think about what the 4th of July is all about. And I wish they'd call it "Independence Day" since calling it "the 4th" cheapens the meaning IMO.
