The housing authority for the city of Newark has withdrawn its gun ban. Now we've just got to get the housing authorities in Wilmington, Dover & the DSHA to withdrawal their bans as well. If they have any sense they'll fold in short order just like Newark.
I don't have time to write much on this at the moment, so more thoughts later. I will say that if we really want to send a message and get this kind of behavior to stop we need to start prosecuting the officials who are implementing and enforcing these unconstitutional bans.
Of course there'll be snowflakes in hell before that happens. Sebastian points out that all it takes to topple these housing gun bans is a letter threatening legal action. It works because post-Heller the bigots know they will lose in court.
