Seriously Obama?

"Small businesses and families are tightening their belts. Their government should too."

- Barack Obama's Twitter feed - 11-29-2010

Yes folks, the man who has presided over the largest expansion of the Federal government since FDR and higher government spending than any time in U.S. history is talking about the need for fiscal responsibility. I'd say it's surreal, but then we all know President Obama is lying. He has absolutely no intention of reducing the size or scope of the Feds or of cutting government spending. The words "cut spending" aren't even in his vocabulary.

*yes, I follow Obama on Twitter.

Silly goose, he obviously meant their state, county, and city government.

Their government was the key. The federal government doesn't belong to the people, the people belong to the federal government.

I too, follow the president on Twitter, and I stop just shy of replying to him.

I'm sure that I'm on a list already, but why make matters more complicated.

And yes, what a joke government belt tightening is, when the Obama Admin has 14 no votes against the deficit commission, which means no plan going to congress. BRILLIANT!

LIES, DAMNED LIES!

And even if he did, there are those who would lambaste it as the wrong thing to do. As if I'm supposed to have sympathy for those who work for an employer who can literally print money at will when I didn't get a raise for the entire amount of time I was at my last employer due to wage freezes.

Well, hell, this might just fall under, "the best self-fulfilling prophecy ever".

Spend like a drunk sailor. Drive the deficits through the roof. Wait until everyone forgets or stops caring. Then start a drive for "fiscally conservative" policies.

Anyone notice how this started after the most-recent round of elections?
