Quote of the Day - Turn Them All In

"If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of of them - Mr. and Mrs. America, turn them all in - I would have done it."

- Dianne Feinstein (1995) - Feinstein talking about the 1994 Assault Weapons ban and the fact that it didn't go far enough.

Amazingly, there are still people, even people who own guns, who don't think these folks actually want to take away all guns.

Well, they don't want to take away ALL Guns, Mike.

Just ALL the Guns in Private Hands.

THEIR Bodyguards, LEOs, Military and a "Select Few" of THEIR 'Elite Class" would be allowed to keep them, just in case the Peasants get Uppity.

So the 1994 AWB "didn't go far enough." Typical. Whenever an anti-gun law fails, leftists cite the failure as a reason for more anti-gun laws. Just as their welfare programs failed to eradicate poverty, so leftists cite the continuing poverty to justify more welfare spending.
