I'm just going to put this here

This article about Miley Cyrus's VMA performance is so ridiculous I have to link to it. I didn't watch, but from what I gather her performance was pretty much classless, but then isn't that the norm for the VMA's these days? I mean really, most of the "artists" these days are really just entertainers who can't sing worth a damn, so they're left with the option of showing skin and acting more outrageous than the last guy. I have to say I'm a bit amazed that somehow it's "racist" for Miley Cyrus to do this at the VMA's, but perfectly acceptable for the urban rap culture to objectify, subjugate, and flat out degrade women. I mean what black rap artist hasn't done far, far worse? The article bemoans her "reckless use of black culture" but fails to take any issue with the urban rap culture itself. H/T to Hube
