For the record, I drive an 07' Mazda 6 with a 2.3L 4 cylinder. You'd think it'd sip gas right?
Nope. I managed a grand total of 18.5 MPG my last fill up. When I tone down my driving I can get maybe 20/gal, but I've also gotten as low as 15/16 MPG.
In 20K miles my brakes & front tires are both almost shot, but that's because these are the roads I drive for my daily commute. I have some awesome pictures at home, so these crappy ones will have to do for now. God it's fun!

my NON-turbo Impreza gets about the same. your car, though, is relatively heavy...so your average mileage isn't too surprising.
True. Of course once you get your STi swap that mileage will drop.
I'd gladly take a Speed6 despite the hit in gas mileage.
And yes, The 6 is heavy, yet surprisingly doesn't plow all that bad in the corners.
My mileage is still a bit disappointing though, I may drive hard on the backroads, but I don't drive like a maniac everywhere.(though I have had this car up to some not so legal speeds a time or two.)
i'm holding off on that swap for as long as possible. right now, i don't even know if it WILL happen, based on my current financial situation.
Even in it's non-turbo form I'd still take your car over mine.
I dislike the wrong wheel driveness.
Holy crap...
Dude, my hemi-powered, 5700 pound Dodge Ram gets 16 MPG around town.
Srsly...
