I can't say I'm particularly surprised by these results except that I expected to be a bit closer to the center. Interesting little test, and most importantly it's not too long.

Huh. Only a few percentage points off from where you are. The more interesting thing is how my drift has travelled over the years since this test was created...
I am, however, amusingly encouraged that the people responsible for the creation of this test firmly file Obamaramadingdong under "Socialist".
I've taken that test...but it's actually biased if you look at it.
It places Republican and than fascism. And then Democrats and socialism as their extreme.
This is balogne, the extreme of conservatism and Republican is NOT fascism. If anything it would be corporate control for the Republicans.
Fascism is much closer to the socialist side of the spectrum. With national control of private industry, etc.
That said, a good argument can be made that the present Republican party (ie: socialist lite) should is moving toward the center/bottom-right area. And the Democrats are now pretty much socialist. And the bottom right should be fascist socialist state.
That said, most people I know fall more toward the libertarian corner. Which is good...
