"We're going to lose, but that's not a bad thing"
That's essentially what Henigan says in his latest Huffpo screed.
Poor, poor Brady's, they're so used to getting an ass-kicking they're now laying down before it even happens. I have to laugh at Henigan spinning an anticipated 2nd loss at the SCOTUS as a "win" for the gun control crowd. Not to mention his continued spinning of Heller as a "win" for his side, despite the fact that it destroyed once and for all the "collective rights" interpretation that was a basic tenet of the Brady's overall message.
War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Strength, and Losing is Winning.
To me the recent bleatings of the Brady Campaign scream "Look at us! Look at us!, we're not dead yet" as they slide increasingly into irrelevancy among the general public. It puts a smile on my face.
As an anecdote, ask your co-workers, neighbors, or some random folks on the street if they know what the NRA is. Then ask if they know about the Brady Campaign. Most folks know what "NRA" stands for, The Brady Campaign, not so much.

You have to give the man credit for maintaining a positive, optimistic outlook on life. A baseless, erroneous, and inherently flawed outlook, but still somewhat optimistic...
not surprising- the brady campaign's stance is based on whimsical fiction anyway.
