Tell me again why we have a CCDW permit system in Delaware? I mean it's not like criminals in New Castle County think twice about carrying illegally.
It seems to me that the entire process is nothing more than an expensive impediment for those of us in the First State who aren't violent criminals.

What's worse is, that once my VA permit comes in, I will be able to carry (with the restrictions that you have) in your state, and I'm neither a resident of VA OR DE. Isn't that a bunch of crap?
Once I have my permit, I will be able to carry in all the states that surround me (DE, PA, WVA, VA) yet I will not be able to carry in my home state (MD).
Complain as you must, but, at least there is an opportunity to get a permit in Delaware, no matter how egregious the system is.
