Cowabunga, Dude!

Upon seeing Breda's "Library Ninjas" post one of the first things that came to mind was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie and of course one of the greatest videogames of my childhood, TMNT: Turtles in Time.

I don't know though, Battletoads was pretty awesome as well, if not ridiculously hard. You know, I still have my SNES but I doubt if I have either of these games anymore.
So, what were your favorite Super Nintendo Games?

Guess Space Invaders doesn't qualify -- seeing how I played it on the Atari 2600 system.

Guess I loose major geek points by not keeping up on the latest game systems but I haven't owned one personally since Sega Genesis.

And I only had that one for my nephews and nieces.

Am I showing my age here?

Heh, I remember Sega Genesis. I donated that to my grandpa's neighbor in Chile.

Yes you're showing your age, but so am I. My last gaming system was a Nintendo 64.

"Shellshocked!!!"

Turtles in Time was freaking sweet!

Can't leave out Mario World or Link to the Past when you're talking SNES tho.

Don't know if I've commented on here before but good blog, keep up the good work!

U.N. Squadron. A great side-scrolling shooter that I believe was known as Area 88 in the arcades. I flippin' LOVED it on the SNES, along with RPM Racing. That stood for Radical Psycho Machine, and it was fairly crappy, but I loved having a Lamborghini Countach on monster truck wheels!

But Link to the Past, FTW.

The SNES was awesome. My sibs and I liked, in no particular order:

Zelda (Link to the Past?)

Turtles in Time

Super Mario Bros. All-Stars

Super Mario World

Mortal Kombat III

Street Fighter II

After the N64, most of my sibs and me were big kids, so Mom said we'd have to buy our own video-game consoles from there on out. I haven't bothered, but Sis has a Wii - so, yeah, I play "Rock Band 2" with her on it from time to time. Heh.
