2011 and porking already

I honestly don't eat bacon very often, but I might have some of this to celebrate the start of what I hope will be a great year.

We had bacon for breakfast, with the french toast made with eggnog/rum batter. Best start to a new year I've had in a while!

We had all beef franks with bacon and shrimp and guacamole and caviar for dinner last night. Ham for dinner tonight. Mmm.

We had hog jowl out in the boondocks of TN. Once you get past the name, it was not all that bad :).
