I was around for his last year...granted I spent almost all of it in a hospital incubator, or sleeping. I was a liberal back then so I also shat in my pants a lot!
I do know even the Lefties in Mass don't even attempt to defend him. He's essentially the Democrat's Richard Nixon...its better if you just don't talk about him.
Obama and his Congressional Democrat allies have done FAR more damage to the country than Carter ever did.
And Alan was in graduate school in the Carter years, so he would know...

Carter was my Commander-in-Chief for 4 years, so from that bias, I still think he was the Worst. The stories I could tell!
