"Be scared. Be very, very scared. When all the Liberals get guns, it will be a much more violent world. At that point, Conservatives will start screaming for gun control.
Don't say I didn't warn you."

In the words of my President, Bring it On.
Or to put it another way, put up or shut up. Get a gun, get some training, get good at shooting and all that entails, and then decide if you're still anti-gun enough to start American Revolution II, The Reckoning. We'll be over here fine tuning our techniques.
What ubu52 has said is, I propose, wishful thinking.
A. There are too many references made by anti gunners who quiver and piss their pants at the mere sight of a gun. They lack the intestinal fortitude to arm themselves.
B. Those that do arm themselves, we subvert. By owning a gun, we espouse freedom and fun. They get sucked into our world and find it hard to go back to arguing against a freedom they've tasted.
What TotC said. By the time someone has gone through all that is required to become truly proficient with a firearm they are often fairly pro 2nd amendment by that time.
If the pro gun democrats I know are any indicator, Ubu's hypothetical violent progessive shitbags would have to deal with them as well.
ubu52 is correct, historically speaking. The last time forces for confiscatory taxes came armed and looking for a fight, those who had allied themselves on the side of personal liberty were heard to follow a mantra staying the use of violence. I believe it was something to the effect of "Don't fire until you can see the whites of their eyes"
