Bersa has a matte pink breast cancer awareness Bersa Thunder .380 kit. This is old news, but it's the 1st I'd heard of it and frankly, it's pretty awesome! It also probably drives hardcore contemporary feminists nuts, which is an added plus.
My late Mom-Mom was a breast cancer survivor, though cancer, the bitch that it is, did catch up to her in the end.

LOL, dude, I pointed it out to you at the Meeting. :P
Do you know how many guns I looked at in Pittsburgh? You really expect me to remember them all, especially pink ones I'm not gonna buy? :P
LOL, but it was a Bersa! Figured that would stick in yer brain. :P
I really, really want one of those (NOT the pink grips) for a carry gun. I've read nothing but good things about the Thunder.
they're great, reliable, inexpensive carry pistols. seriously, get one. you won't be sorry.
Thanks, Laura.
There are a couple of used ones available here in K.C in the $250 range. Just got to save up a few more pennies.....

Doo eet. :D My Firestorm (gussied-up Thunder) was my first gun, and is easily my favorite...even now, 4 years later.
Aah, pink grips, not a pink pistol; somehow that makes it almost okay (and it looks like it came with normal grips).
I figure folks can buy whatever color pistol they like but I know if I was giving a firearms course you would not have anything but a traditinally colored pistol in my class. That would be for safety reasons. There is a reason that training models, those rubber/plastic things, were manufactured as Blue Guns and Red Guns and why non-firing training guns (real guns made not able to fire) were painted red or yellow or blue. There is also a reason as to why real guns should not be made to look like non-firing guns or like toys. The bottom line reason was SAFETY.
As I said though, folks should feel free to buy what they want, I just recommend they buy a real gun that looks like a real gun for safety reasons.
All the best,
GB
