I am dumbfounded by the fact that people will get on the intertubes and ask questions like "should I stagger hollowpoint and FMJ rounds in my *insert Sig Sauer blaster here*? or "The first trigger pull on my DA/SA Sig is too long and heavy, can't I just carry it with the hammer cocked?"
Sigh. I guess if you don't ask dumb questions you can't learn, but still....

FACEPALM!
NO! NO! NO!
If you didn't want a long heavy first trigger pull, you should have bought a glock! If you wanted a glass rod with limited reliability, you should have bought a 1911.
And for the love of GOD, if your life depends on it...make sure your gun will fire JHP or other defensive ammo with acceptable combat stoppages!
There are reasons for some of the questions -- especially the one about staggering rounds.
Way too many times it is pointed out that Hollow points out of a .32 or .380 won't expand sufficiently.
So looking to see if using ball/HP is a valid exercise.
Another reason not to get too excited is asking questions in a variety of ways is a good research method.
And lastly, give me a break. I'm still learning. At least my research brought me to your blog.
