And here is the .22 upper. The 512 is mounted way forward for experimental purposes. It's now been moved back near the charging handle.

Well to be fair the gun in the 2nd pic is NOT under $600.
The sub $600 one was a CMMG bargain bin rifle.
Sweet setup! The EOTech will serve you well, and the .22 caliber upper will make it very affordable to shoot your own food when our economy is finished off. Smart choice.
I gotta give you credit for propping your rifle up with a twelve pack of beer!
