Step # 2 - Stock up on Advil
Shoes should be here next week and then I can start hitting the old XC courses. My goal is to get back to where I used to be, running ~20 miles per week and maybe one hill workout per month. I'm hoping that running on mostly trails vs. pavement will keep me injury free.
My other resolutions are as follows.
- Get to the range on a regular basis - This is going to require a commitment to waking up early.
- Bring a few newbies to the range - This probably won't happen till it gets warmer, at least into the 40's and 50's.
Looking at my resolution from last year I can't say I'm too disappointed. I did gain weight, though not the 10-20 pounds I'd hoped. Still, any weight gain is good for me, since it sometimes feels damn near impossible.
