What could be better than free ammo? My brother dropped by with a couple hundred rounds of Speer 357SIG over the weekend!
Gotta love family.
* I hear that's Weer'd's favorite caliber.

hehehe Nothing like a 9mm +P round that has worse bullet selection, higher price, lower availability, AND takes up a LOT more space in a magazine.
Oh AND its a bitch to reload!
Hey at least it isn't 5.7x28mm!
Hey, free is free is free, even if it means you might have to get a gun to use it ;).
(Not saying you do, just that it would make a good excuse.)
That is the ONE advantage of .357 Sig, and I would claim the #1 reason why your choices of guns chambered in it aren't uncommon.
A quick barrel swap and your .40 S&W (another cartridge I LOVE /sarcasm) gun is now in .357 Sig.

That's a huge advantage for me. Obviously I can't be asking my bro for ammo all the time, but the fact that he can throw me a box or two here and there is a good reason to have a gun in .357 SIG.
Granted, I don't really need ammo for it at the moment. I've got a couple of .30 cal cans packed full of Speer Lawman Frangible & FMJ stuff.
I've barely shot with the .40 barrel at all, but it's nice to have just in case. I even had it Cerhided a different color than the .357SIG barrel.
I don't think I've got more than ~250 rds. of .40 S&W on hand.
