I firmly believe in this concept and have strived to stay true to it in my writings on this blog. I suspect it is one of the key reasons why the views I espouse are held in contempt by so many on both sides of the political aisle.l

I stand with you on that - everyone has a right to be free and heard. (No contempt here).
BTW - it's hard to go wrong quoting Thomas Paine!
