Last year he gave me ammo (357SIG) This year I got this shirt. It has their web address printed on the back. You'll have to excuse the poofy hair.

I also have three rather awesome announcements to make.
First, my uncle proposed to his girlfriend last night and is getting married.
Second, it looks like another little rugrat will be added to the Dubya clan. My brother and his wife are hoping it's a girl but I'd be fine with another rough & tumble nephew.
Third, I got a big Christmas present. My grandparents promised to pay for me to get Lasik this year. My sisters are sad since they think I look good in glasses. I'll be excited to get rid of the damn things.
Also, I got scolded by my 3 year old nephew for saying "butt". That's a "bad word" in his house and he let me know it ;)
How was everyone's Christmas?

LASIK is among the best things I've ever done in life- but a few years later I find myself missing the fashionable accessory of being bespectacled. Not enough to trade my eyesight for it, though. Glad you had a great holiday- now watch your mouth! ^_^
Oh my goodness, I think you and Rick Perry share a hairdo!
Glad your Christmas was a good one, Mike.
Eye surgery is totally worth it. I had a lasik like procedure (zyoptix)about 4 years ago now. I had a few complications afterwards, and still would go through the procedure again without hesitation.
Fat-ass is a bad word in my house, but I hear it all the time.
Lucky.
Good for you! I had Lasik done a few years back and it's truly amazing. The first time I didn't have to turn the light on and actually hold the alarm clock up to my face to see what time it was when I woke up at night...that was frickin' AWESOME.
My Christmas was pretty darn nice, I must say. Delicious corn chowder, "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind", phone calls from loved ones...yeah, nice. :)
I'm just pissed you shaved off the beard!
I've been thinking about lasik for a while now. Its not as much of a priority now that I don't do field work (fog or rainy weather means Zero vis for Mr. Scientist!)
But it also kinda geeks me out when I think about it.
Lissa is super happy with how hers turned out...
Congrats on the Lasik goodness... that is always something I was never capable of doing (staring down a laser, that is), so I will probably keep muddling along with glasses and contacts. Still, should make rangetime that much easier :).
Congrats on the new tribal addition, and that includes uncles proposal. Family is most important.
Second, congrats on LASIK. The best fundage I ever spent on myself. Awesome is too sissy of a word to explain how sharp my eyes are from it. The technology is very mature these days, and I can't wait to hear about your success. Keep us posted.
