My little Sis's best friend is in Arizona for college and just went shooting for the first time..... with an AK clone to boot! She had fun! Chew on that one anti's!
She lost her mom recently, so I'm glad to see she had fun, got her mind off of things and got in some much needed recoil therapy.

If they ever come up to N. AZ, I'll be happy to take them to our local "National Forrest Range" Range fees are excellent, free. Downside is you gotta set up your own targets. And use the "Polite Society" Approach to fellow range "members". Actually that's a good idea on any range. But usually, folks are friendly, so it's easy to be polite.
I even have an AK clone.
I believe they're in the Tuscon area, but I could be wrong. She goes to U of A.
We've got great shooting in the Tucson area. Tucson Rifle Club has ranges up to 1000yd for high power, action pistol ranges, and rimfire and centerfire rifle ranges. Pima Pistol hs both rifle and pistol ranges and holds monthly matches. The indoor range, Marksman Pistol, has two location in town. All ranges have great staff and facilities and I shoot at all of them.
US Presidents tend to be left handed too. Especially recently.
