So, so many liberals I've encountered are filled with hatred, prone to violence, overly emotional, and exhibit an astounding distrust and contempt for their fellow citizens.*
*I'm not saying all are like this, but in my personal experience hard core leftists are just plain nasty people.
Given my experiences, both in real life and online I'm not the least bit surprised to see young liberals treating Glenn Beck so badly. I mean C'mon people, Beck is just a political commentator, an entertainer. I can actually understand viewing some politicians with contempt. Hell, I find Obama contemptible given the lack of respect he has for my constitutional rights.
I consider many liberal viewpoints logically and factually wrong, not to mention destructive to this country and to personal liberty. As a result I don't respect many of those viewpoints. That said, I don't hate every liberal nor do I hold any ill will towards someone simply because they like Keith Olbermann or watch MSNBC. I find our President contemptible and I don't respect him, but I don't hate him with the outright vitriol that you see leftists exhibit towards those not like them.

I believe the problem is that they KNOW that Polite, Civilized People won't retaliate in kind when they do something like that. So these Spoiled Brats (of ALL age Groups) who think that they are "Special" can say and do what ever they want w/o fear of being Punished. And if they do run afoul of the Law, then they'll have some Lawyer get them out of the mess they made.
You know, somedays, being a member of a "Polite Society" is very, very, very tough.
