Thank god for Paul Krugman. Idiots like him are great for a laugh, though idiots like him should have no political or economic influence whatsoever. Krugman and Obama. There couldn't be better proof that the Nobel Prize has become a total joke.
Zakaria and Krugman seem to be of the opinion that paying people (with taxpayer money) to dig ditches and then fill them back up is "productive work"
I think Krugman is looking at this the wrong way. An alien invasion will help the economy, but not for the reasons he thinks. An impending alien invasion will be a boon for the gun and ammunition industry, which will create jobs.
What caliber for big, green-eyed Martians?
