Truth in London

You are on your own.  The police can't and won't protect you.  Individuals and their communities must take action to keep themselves safe.  When shit goes bad and there's rioting in the streets the police won't save you nor protect your homes and businesses.  That is a simple truth.

"We have to do things for ourselves," said Huseyin. "We have to look after each other. If they come here tonight there will be a fight, a big fight."

UK subjects are just now realizing this, after a decades long erosion of individual rights and personal sovereignty and the growth of a coddling nanny-state.  Too bad they've already given up their rights and their arms for the illusion "public safety."  Oops.

It's the difference between being a Subject and a Citizen. Unfortunately, we have way too many Subjects in the Republic.
