So I need new holsters

I threw a Serpa holster in the trash the other day because the lock kept sticking.   Granted I have several and it was the only one giving me problems, but if it was happening to one it could just as easily happen to any of the others.

So, any suggestions for OC holsters?  The Safariland ALS perhaps?

What are your requirements?

Since you're mentioning Serpa and Safariland, I'm assuming you want something with a position-lock retention? I can't help ya there.

Otherwise, I would point you to Dennis over at Dragon Leather Works.

IF/when I ever get my rear end off the pot...I really like the looks of what these guys are doing for functional carry holsters (provided you don't want true "positive" retention).

If I had to be "tacti-cool" I'd go bladetech or safariland.

Leather OWB - Pick a quality leather holster maker and never worry about mechanical contraption failure again. I also buy a new belt from the same maker when I buy a new OWB.

Which Gun? IWB, Pancake, Shoulder? EDC or Bar-B- Q? Separate Retention, or will something Simple like a Bladetech be good enough? And do you need ammo carriers, or are you going with what's in the Pistol?

Like Merlin said, what are your requirements?

Are you getting rid of your other Serpa holsters?

You saw the video of the "I just Fing shot myself" guy?

One of the problems he had was he was mixing different types of retention holsters.
