Wilmington Murders

Wilmington has recorded its 16th homicide so far this year.  Philadelphia, by contrast has had 264 homicides this year.  Keep in mind that Philadelphia has 21 times the population of Wilmington.  Yes, that means that the city where I work is once again on track to have a significantly higher homicide rate than Philadelphia.

Is it any wonder that one of the welcome signs coming into the city reads "Wilmington. A place to be kill someone?"

Politically the city is run by liberal Democrats and Mayor Baker is a member of MAIG
