First shots
Took dad to the range today. This was the 1st time he's shot a gun in 30+ years.
He had fun, although only wanted to shoot a few mags from each gun. We shot the P229R and my Dan Wesson. He really liked the 1911 and was, to my delight, well behaved.

Looks like minute-of-bad-guy to me.
Everyone likes the Dan Wesson. Everyone.
The next 8 rounds (we used 7 and 8 rd. mags) all stayed in the 9 ring except one pulled shot in the 8 ring.
He wants to go again. This damn list of people who want me to bring them shooting / bring them shooting again keeps on growing. :)
now to work on his opinion of carrying.
