Snow!

We got absolutely hammered here in Northern Delaware. We've got somewhere near 30 inches here, definitely over 2 feet already. The snow seems to have stopped falling for right now, so I'm hoping this means it's over.

Here's the accumulation on the outside table as of 8:30 AM this morning. We have significantly more than this now.

I've got about 2/3 of the driveway done and am hoping to be finished by later tonight. My dad shouldn't shovel at all with his heart condition, but he's stubborn and refuses to listen to me. It's amazing how much harder this is when you don't have 4 or 5 people shoveling with you.

So for now I'm stuck here, snowed in and enjoying some beer and movies. Why is it that we've gotten most of this crappy white stuff on weekends? It seems as if every time I'm free to go to the range we get snow.

The snow looks beautiful. I don't really miss it though.

Make sure to sweep off the table. The weight of the snow can crack it.

We got NOTHING, I guess the storm hooked a left as it headed up the coast.

I'll let you take it, I'm still getting over my cold, and I'd rather not drive a shovel for another week at least!

Weer'd - LUCKY. We got hammered in Baltimore, and I know we won't see a plow on my street before the end of the week.

I, too, have a cold and this shoveling business is for the birds. I haven't even attempted to reach my car yet - if I managed to dig out, I wouldn't be able to drive it anywhere, anyway.
