U.S. healthcare changing lives

Remember this story of the little girl with dreams of dance who had neurosurgery in the U.S. to alleviate her spastic diplegia?

Well there's another 5 year old boy in Britain with cerebral palsy who is coming to the U.S. and paying out of pocket for surgery so that he can walk.   The operation is of course not avaliable under Britain's socialized NHS system despite the fact that it has been performed in the U.S. for the past 23 years.   Families of kids with CP in the UK are trying to change that, though it's going to be an uphill battle.

Despite all the people trying to destroy it I still love this country!

We were so happy that My wife was doing all her epilepsy surgery and procedures BEFORE Obamacare came into effect.

Yeah we DO have Romney Care here, and it has greatly increased the COST of all of this, but Mass healthcare has been subsidized by the federal government. When there's no longer a big-daddy .gov to bail the nation out is when shit gets real.
