Democrats with Contempt for Concerned Constituents

In keeping with the last post, here's another liberal Democrat, Joseph Mitchell (D) - Alabama who sees fit to treat a gun owning constituent with outright contempt.  Not to mention the obvious contempt he shows for white people with his reply.

All the guy did was e-mail his legislator asking him to protect his 2nd Amendment rights and his response was a crazy, racist tirade.
"Hey man,...'Your folk never used all this sheit [sic] to protect my folk from your slave-holding, murdering, adulterous, baby-raping, incestuous, snaggle-toothed, backward-a**ed, inbreed [sic], imported criminal-minded kin folk.'"Man, this would've been hilarious had the constituent who wrote him actually been a black man instead. Rep. Mitchell (D) also refers to the 2nd Amendment to the United States Constitution as "That 2nd Amendment thing."

Also,  what kind of childish, pissant of a man ends a reply to one of his constituents with "BRING IT!!" ? Mr. Maxwell certainly took the high road in his responses to this particularly nasty politician.

Imagine, if you will a white Republican legislator in the South unleashing that kind of a response on a black constituent. We'd be hearing about it non-stop on the nightly news and morning talk shows for the next week.  It might even get Obama to weigh in.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 outlawed major forms of discrimination against racial, ethnic, national and religious minorities, and women. It ended unequal application of voter registration requirements and racial segregation in schools, at the workplace and by facilities that served the general public. That was 49 years ago.

That means that anyone less than 55 years old did not EVER attend a segregated school. 80% of the US population is less than 55.

The last slave in the USA died in 1971. There is not a single person left alive who was alive during slavery. There is not a single child of a slave, nor a child of a slaveowner left alive today.

Time to let it go.

How many generations have to pass before slavery is no longer an issue? Civil rights activists who demand privileges because their ancestors were slaves are no better than idle rich people who think they are entitled to wealth and luxury because their ancestors were royalty.
