They're "Gun-Safety Advocates" Now?

Saw this over at Sebastians

"That’s why there’s no time to waste for gun-safety advocates to resume lobbying lawmakers to pass real gun-safety measures that will protect taxpayers and help police put real heat on traffickers."

I guess they decided the term "gun-safety advocate" sounded better and less devisive than "gun-control advocate" or "anti-rights advocate." Typical. Kind of how when the term "liberal" took on negative connotations liberal politicians instead started referring to themselves as "progressives"

Gun safety is hitting your target and obeying the 4 rules. That's it!

I'm guessing that editorial was written by CeaseFire PA. I don't think a reporter would use that term. It would be like if they had called an AR-15 a "sport utility rifle" - only a gunnie would use that term. Same for "gun safety" - the antis came up with that one, and I think only they would use it.
