It's a Disease

So you think "I'd like to own a gun and start shooting." You start out telling yourself "oh I'll just buy one pistol & one rifle." Along come great deals # 1 - infinity, and various items you "need," often for guns you don't even own yet. Before you know it you've got a safe full of guns, a closet full of ammo, and random shit you can't even use......yet.

Anyone care to explain how this happens?

can't explain it, though it's the same for me with regard to my cars/bike obsession. :)

Oh, you have no idea how hard it's been for me to keep from touching the Mazda. I've been really close a few times.

And you can bet when the brakes and tires are toast some upgrades will be in order.

i cannot fathom how it happens either... i went from owning a single .22 and a 12ga both of which i never shot a year ago to owning another .22, a 9mm pistol, another .22 that is on the way... plus im planning on an AR build next month...

and somehow i have a giant range bag and four ammo cans full of crap too... still not sure why i have 3 different holsters for a pistol that i dont even carry...

Collect all you can! At least one of each is my goal. Just think about how many other hobbies there are that are way more expensive.
