"The initial question was posed by Peter Valdez of Salinas, who wanted to know why gun locks couldn’t be enforced in the city – forcing gang members to lock their guns in order to transport them."
Hey Mr. Valdez,

“The Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home.” Heller v. D.C. - June 26, 2008

Howdy Mike. Just wanted to stop by and say thankyou for dropping by the Trailer and taking the time to comment.
As far as gang bangers using gun locks. Wouldn't it be better to pass a law forcing gang members to store their illegal guns seperate from their illegal ammo?
What a brain trust they got there....geesh.
I know as a gun rights supporter you must have heard, "criminals - by definition - do not obey the law" a million times. It never ceases to amaze me that the gun grabbers can't wrap their minds around this very key point.
Who are the people who listen to this before hand and say 'yea thats a good idea'
You can't fix stupid.
Ted - No, you most certainly can't. Unfortunately they can breed.........and vote.
