Eeee!

Got my EeePC, with the P6 and P220ST for size comparison purposes. I really love this little thing. It's the 1000HE model with the non-funky keyboard.

Unfortunately my shooting plans were foiled this weekend. Mulching and other yardwork needed to be done and I wasn't about to let my parents do the heavy lifting.

That looks like a cool little computer. Is that your screensaver?

No, that's the welcome page for Sigforum.com. Just thought it'd be appropriate since the guns pictured are Sigs.

Nifty. If Apple came out with one of those I'd be all over it.

Are you trying to tell me that you spent money on a new 'puter when you could have bought a new gun instead?

Ah, youth these days.

Ya, I'm a huge smart-ass.

All kidding aside, I hope this increases your post frequency. I enjoy reading your stuff. Currently, that just happens to be on sites other than your own.

Keep and Bear with me.

Heh my reaction to the first pic is "Man that's a huge fucking gun next to an itty-bitty fucking computer!"

Seems that bloggers are the people who'll get the most millage out of Netbooks. Certainly I get exhausted typing up even moderate-length posts on the tiny Keyboard on my HTC tilt.

So does this mean we'll get more Blogging out of you?

$12 I got a USB keyboard for my Eee.

Best $12 I have ever spent on a computer accessory...

Congrats Mike, you'll love it!

Nice! We have the HA model in white.
I couldn't have gotten a gun as cheap as the 'puter was. I can deal with the keyboard but had to buy a $3 mouse...

Hey, I just picked up 1005. No pics with my guns yet though. I'm really liking it. My wife has stolen it a few times because her laptop has been giving her trouble, so that's high praise.

Mike - The typing is fine, however if you get one of the older (or smaller) models the key placement is different than a normal keyboard.

This thing is 92% the size of a normal keyboard and quite easy to type on. It has the raised keys that you see on Macbooks.

I wouldn't want to type a 30 page research paper on it, but it'd be fine for taking notes in class. I'd have used one during undergrad if they had em' back then.
