What do these recent local news stories all have in common?
1. 51 year old man charged in 6 robberies
2. One arrested after robbery, shooting
3. Burglary spree suspect nabbed
4. Dover police charge ex-sheriff in standoff
5. 3 arrested in kent pill distribution bust
The criminals in each incident were ALL prohibited persons. Not one of them could legally possess the gun they used in their crime. This is the norm. Most violent crimes in this country are committed by people with long criminal histories who are already barred from possessing firearms. Gun control means nothing to these people nor is it intended to stop them. No, it's intended to keep guns out of my hands so that bums like these will have free reign over everyone.
