We know that the Indiana Supreme Court recently ruled that citizens have no right to resist unlawful police entry into their homes. Here in Delaware citizens have no right to forcibly resist an arrest, even it it is unlawful.
From Delaware code section 464 - Justification - Use of force in self-protection
"(d) The use of force is not justifiable under this section to resist an arrest which the defendant knows or should know is being made by a peace officer, whether or not the arrest is lawful."
That said, sometimes the police aren't who they say they are, and will kidnap you and tie you up at gunpoint. If someone kicks in my door at o' dark thirty I'm assuming they are there to do me harm. Any rational person would make the same assumption I believe.

The victims were contacted through an escort service. Right! And, of course, the escort shows up with two friends. Gotcha! Wanna bet there is a bit more to this story than what has been reported?
This is not exactly a story of innocents being duped by a police impersonator.
