Solyndra, the solar energy company Obama touted at the beginning of his green energy / green jobs push, has now declared bankruptcy. They received $535 million in government money and were "the future" according to our President, yet they still went under. And folks like my roommate wonder why I look at them in disbelief when they claim the government should "invest" in green energy companies.
Yes, more taxpayer funded "investment" in companies like this is exactly what the economy needs, right?

er.... $535 million.
Alrighty, then... that's $535,000 per employee... been better off to just give the money to the employees...
