The Vice President of the United States is a Moron

Not content with his laughable, dangerous, and flat out illegal advice to "buy a double barreled shotgun"  and "fire two blasts off the balconey into the air to scare off intruders" Vice President Biden is now doubling down on the stupid.

Here's his original idiocy

Dare I say he's doubling down on comments that are moronic, even for someone of his intellect?  Not only does he add in the wonderful "advice" to "shoot through the door" at someone you haven't clearly identified, he pushes the "An AR-15 is harder to use, harder to aim" bullshit yet again!

“Well, you know, my shotgun will do better for you than your AR-15, because you want to keep someone away from your house, just fire the shotgun through the door.” Most people can handle a shotgun a hell of a lot better than they can a semiautomatic weapon in terms of both their aim and in terms of their ability to deter people coming. We can argue whether that’s true or not, but it is no argument that, for example, a shotgun could do the same job of protecting you.

- Vice President Joe Biden / "Gun Expert"

Is he really this stupid?  Does he really think American's are stupid enough to believe this crap?  Or is it malice?  Is he hoping that people will take his advice and get arrested so that he can use those people as examples of why we need to ban guns?

RULE # 4!

I can't think of the name of the case, but wasn't there a 20 something white guy who shot a police officer who was doing a no-knock raid on his apartment?  They didn't identify themselves, he was scared for his life, shot through the door and killed one of them, and got put away?

I would say that these comments could come back to haunt Biden or his wife should they, god forbid, ever be involved in a defensive shooting.  Then I remember that he'll probably have paid armed security the rest of his life.  He'd also end up walking even if he was involved in a "bad shoot" well.....because he's Joe Biden.

I would rather have a VP who misspells potato than one who advises people to fire warning shots (endangering innocent bystanders), or to shoot without being able to identify the target.

If Biden had served in the military instead of hiding out in college, he might have trained and qualified with an M-16, and would know that a 5.56mm/.223 rifle is much easier to shoot than even a 20-gauge shotgun. Less noise and less recoil. (Some sources say it was asthma that kept him out of the military, but somehow the asthma didn't prevent him from playing football in high school and college.)
